The property was fairly clean, the room was clean and attractive. The staff were very, very nice and really kind, took care of us during 3 days stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our rooms with a bottle of champagne on ice. The location was great and beautiful, for example, a well-known park was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The food they offered was fine, had a wide array of meals.

The standard queen room was gorgeous and had a newly renovated bathroom. Lovely beds, central heating, a private safe, and flat-screen TV were a nice touch. The location was stunning - right by the centre of Historic Charleston, all the shops and restaurants, and resturants. The staff were polite and nice day and night.

Wonderful hotel, magnificent location, airy room. Good hot breakfast with sherry and water available in lobby and wine, amicable staff. Location next to shops, historic sites, the College of Charleston and the harbor as well as the center of the historic district. Nearby Bistro a Vin - great place to chill out.

It has marvellous and lovely location, very close to a marina that provided morning entertainment watching youngsters learning to sail, and the center of the historic district. Downtown Charleston district is worth looking into.
